Augustin’s Waffles is excited to be invited to be one of the participants at the Henri Bendel NY flagship store for Fashion’s Night Ou t event on Thursday, September 6, 2012. Our company will be amongst other food trucks and vendors invited to feed an eclectic crowd of fashion loving guests of the internationally celebrated observance.
Fashion’s Night Out and its fashion holiday would find favor amongst young, hip Belgians. In the 1980′s Belgian designers came to the fashion scene showcasing avant-garde wardrobes, breaking ground with unique and bold geometry and statement pieces. New classics were developed and Belgium found its place amongst France, Italy, Japan, and America in the way of fashion leadership.
Antwerp is also home to the Royal Academy, a school developing some of the top influencers in the fashion industry. Throughout the years, Belgium has pushed initiatives and events designed to improve and celebrate the countries fashion and textile sectors and further establishing its place as a top contributor to the fashion industry.
