Did you catch the pitch for “ wired waffles ” on the Shark Tank Friday night? Everyone occasionally needs a pick me up but the five judges on the immensely popular Shark Tank television program were not in the least bit convinced by the caffeine-infused waffles pitch and sent the Marysville entrepreneur home with nothing.

According to the Herald Net the couple “owned a couple of espresso stands and saw the need for a breakfast food that was more than a cookie but less than a muffin.” They said they were inspired after seeing a Travel Channel show focusing on Petite Abeille , a Belgian New York restaurant, and their service featuring sweetened Liege Belgian waffles.
I would have to agree with the judges’ decision. If it doesn’t taste good you must not approve. We however, have the original pearlized sugar yeast waffle that meets the description above: more than a cookie but less than a muffin. And the best news is, they are delicious.
